it's almost the end of the march holidays...

right now, there's a SCDF emergency preparedness activity going on at the carpark in front of my flat... when it just started, there was seriously no one there... now, there are more people there...

the host was asking questions about the different sirens made by the police patrol cars, fire engines and ambulances... it took really long before any one could get the sounds correct... there were many attempts, but they sounded really odd... this makes me think, are we seriously prepared for any emergency?

when i knew about this activity yesterday, i think it was a waste of resources, coz no one would be very interested about this... now there are quite a number of people at the exhibition... then i heard "the lucky draw coupons ae sold out", maybe those people are for the prizes durign the lucky draw as well as the questions, especially when there are so many aunties taking part... (i heard that one of them is already 91)

a fire engine and a red rhino is right downstairs... then i recalled about an accident somewhere (which i could vakely remember) that involved the red rhino... i wonder if it's really safe to use the red rhino... i heard from somewhere that the parts for the red rhino is really expensive, so i wonder where on earth do they get the money to maintain such an expensive vehicle which is quite of no use...

with all these, are we really prepared for any emergency???
